VIS was contracted by Tetra Tech to support a study for the Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC) focused on electricity and water distribution network connections and the development of utility networks within megaprojects.
VIS contributed by benchmarking international practices related to connection regulations, commercial rules, and charging methodologies, drawing on examples from leading European and Asian utilities. Additionally, VIS researched global practices concerning the development, ownership structures, and operation models of electricity and water networks specifically within the context of large-scale infrastructure projects. Our team provided detailed data analysis, synthesized findings, and delivered actionable insights to guide ADDC’s strategy for future developments.
