Financial screening of projects in the framework of the Central and South-Eastern European Gas Connectivity (CESEC) initiative

VIS participated in this study for the EC DG Energy, as part of an international consortium. The project’s objective was to conduct financial screenings and prepare related reports for 9 gas projects contained in the CESEC Action Plan (interconnections, internal pipelines, LNG terminals). The deliverables included the project-specific financial screening reports, containing the contractor’s financial risk analysis of the projects and the financial models used. VIS worked in the development of proposed business plans/models for projects, analysis of regulatory frameworks for gas transmission, analysis of financing needs and structures, and analysis of financial modelling results.
