Development of network operation code for gas distribution in Greece

VIS supported the Greek gas distribution companies with the formulation of a common (model) gas distribution network code in accordance with the requirements of the Greek Gas Law, international best practices and the companies’ strategic objectives. The assignment included development of the network operation code’s structure and contents, participation in joint consultations with all gas distributors, development of quality of service and operational performance indicators and targets, and assistance to clients on special topics including formulation of gas quantities allocation mechanism, contents of customer connection and use of system contracts.
