Technical Assistance to AMS on Establishing the Approach for Setting Allowed Technical and Non-Technical Losses in the Electricity Transmission and Distribution System in Tajikistan (NARUC/USAID)

VIS has been engaged by NARUC, in a project funded by USAID, to support Tajikistan’s Energy Regulator (Antimonopoly Service- AMS) to develop the approach for setting normative losses in electricity transmission and distribution networks, and to formulate a new methodology to determine the allowed technical and commercial losses in the networks that will be compensated through the regulated tariffs . The project also provides relevant capacity-building to AMS and key stakeholders.
