VIS participates in a consortium led by Ecorys in implementing a study for DG ENER, to evaluate the impact of the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) on the energy and climate objectives of all EU Member States. The study assesses the impact of the RRF on energy and climate targets of EU Member States and their National Energy and Climate Plans (NECPs), how RRF funding contributes to the implementation of the development and use of financial instruments for energy projects, and the impact of EU member states’ Recovery and Resilience Plans (RRPs) on reaching relevant energy and climate targets. Relevant policy recommendations to the EU will be formulated. VIS will analyze the impact of the RRPs on reaching relevant energy and climate targets and the impact of RRPs on the use of financial instruments for Greece, Cyprus and Malta, and contribute to the study’s policy recommendations.
