Thanasis Anastasiadis
Thanasis is an Energy Analyst, with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Athens, and a Master’s degree in Energy, Law and Economics from the Athens University of Economics and Business.
Thanasis contributes to the firm’s energy data analysis and policy research work by combining political insight with a solid understanding of energy markets and regulatory frameworks.
Since joining VIS, he has worked on a range of projects related to energy policy, market reform, emissions regulation, and cybersecurity. His contributions include evaluating gas market procedures, supporting the development of regulatory tools, and helping design reforms to improve electricity markets in both EU and non-EU countries. He has also been involved in projects assessing embedded emissions in electricity imports under the CBAM Regulation and drafting cybersecurity guidelines for national energy operators.
