Technical Assistance to Develop Network Code on Gas Balancing of Transmission Networks for the National Agency of Energy Regulation of the Republic of Moldova (NARUC/USAID)

VIS has been commissioned by NARUC, with USAID funding, to provide technical assistance to National Agency of Energy Regulation of the Republic of Moldova (ANRE) for the development of gas transmission rules for balancing. The assignment focuses on developing methodologies and providing relevant capacity building to stakeholders for estimating gas balancing charges, neutrality charges and a model balancing agreement, in line with the requirements of the EC Balancing Code and the context of the Moldovan gas sector. An action plan, operationalizing key gas network code elements is also being developed.
