The European Commission has published the results of the study “Impact Assessment on the Proposal for a Network Code on Demand Side Flexibility” implemented by the Ramboll-VIS-Vito consortium. VIS is very pleased to have contributed to the impact analysis of policy options enabling the participation of demand response and other flexibility resources in the electricity markets, with the aim of supporting their development. The rules associated with the policy options include specific technical and market-related measures, as well as new responsibilities for network operators and other relevant stakeholders, so as to ensure the necessary conditions for demand response and other flexibility services are in place.
