Impact assessment for the revision of the gas transmission congestion management rules (EC)

VIS, together with Ramboll, supported DG ENER with the identification and assessment of regulatory interventions to revise the congestion management procedures Guidelines and other related regulations, in order to ensure an optimal use of the European gas infrastructure. The study studies the application of CMPs at the EU Member States and their contribution to the efficient operation of gas networks, identifies shortcomings and challenges and formulates recommendations on regulatory improvements.
