Cost of Service and Tariff Study of The Electricity and Gas Sector in Tunisia

VIS in partnership with MRC is implementing the World Bank assignment "Cost of Service and Tariff Study of The Electricity and Gas Sector in Tunisia". The aim of the assignment is to accurately understand the costs levels across the value chain of the energy sector, assess the subsidies levels, and take decisions on a future tariff structure that maintains the viability of the energy sector, especially those of the STEG (Tunisian Company of Electricity and Gas), safeguards the financials of the Government and simultaneously remains affordable for the power purchase of the Tunisian customers.
