VIS supported the national regulatory authorities (NRAs) of Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam in defining and implementing the steps necessary for the development of a regional electricity market. The project reviewed and mapped the status of the electricity markets in the four countries, presented international practices and the evolution of regional markets, and outlined a tailored roadmap combining international experience with the local context to guide the region’s market integration.
