VIS supported the Greek Ministry of Environment and Energy, under a GIZ funded study, for the development of the legislative and regulatory framework transposing the EU decarbonization package (hydrogen and low carbon gases).
Regulatory practices in other EU countries were analysed. Options to transpose the decarbonization package and relevant amendments to the Greek Energy Law were identified. Recommendations on the institutional set-up of the Greek hydrogen market and the operation of hydrogen networks in Greece were proposed.
