Development of a long-term gas demand forecasting tool for Georgia

VIS was commissioned by NARUC on a USAID-funder project, to provide technical assistance and support to the Georgian Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC) to develop a long-term natural gas demand forecasting tool, together with E3 Modelling. The forecasting tool was tailored to the characteristics of the Georgian energy market, to be used by GNERC in coordination with the Georgian gas sector’s key stakeholders to formulate annual gas demand projections up to 2030.
