Development of a long-term electricity demand forecasting tool for Kosovo

VIS was commissioned by NARUC on a USAID-funded project, to provide technical assistance and support to the Energy Regulatory Office of Kosovo (ERO) to develop a long-term electricity demand forecasting tool, together with E3 Modelling. The forecasting tool was tailored to the characteristics of the Kosovo energy market, to be used by ERO in coordination with the electricity sector’s key stakeholders of Kosovo to formulate annual electricity demand projections up to 2030.
