Assessment of Policy Options for Demand Response Rules – Support to DG ENER

VIS implemented a study for DG ENER focused on assessing policy options for introducing rules on demand response, including aggregation, energy storage, and demand curtailment, in line with the non-binding framework guidelines submitted by ACER in 2022. Starting from ACER’s guidelines, the study evaluated the potential economic, social, and environmental impacts of adopting framework-compatible rules, providing evidence-based insights to support future policymaking.
